Yes this has been my best and worst part of my childhood. I learned to enjoy my creativity and make friends from all over Europe. However the down side was I was using Wow as a means of escaping of my own problems at home. Remember kids, become better parents and mentors by learning the dangers of game addictions and always take care of your children mental health. Much love

I'm pretty darn sure the game will be a very good thing for Blizz. It won't suck, it will appeal to ppl that miss Vanilla and it will allow players like me who didn't played back in the day to try it out even if i'm not a big fan of Vanilla, i'm still curious about it.

It's more than nostalgia. It's simply just a more enjoyable way of playing. Thing takes time, it thus feels rewarding. The challenge is much higher. The interaction between players more meaningful.

Boy although I love levelling characters, spending more than a month, realistically 2, to get to level 60 in literally unrealistic atm. There's no instant dungeon and instant BGs, let's not talking about mounts. Obviously people are worried since Blizzard is going down the drain, and this might not be the best move. I mean, you could have made WoW classic with just the adjustments mentioned above and it would be pretty cool to me, but those things are going to HEAVILY influence the game.

Sorry but the several times I played wow vannkilla servers I allways enjoyed the game. I stop wow because it is toooo easy nowdays. I like the challenge and think games having easymode makes them less fun as it does not force people to learn anything. I love when devs read dfeed back "game is too hard" while making game harder :D

recent wow always looks juicy and i ended up trying/playing all extension a bit, ended up kind of regretting old times every single time. all expansions have good stuff don't get me wrong, but there was always major downsides compared to what was Classic and Burning Crusade (and even Wotlk) instant gratification is what the last expansions gave us, and that's pretty much it : - some expansion killed jobs by giving everyone most of the ressources we can get through those or simply deleting unique features of somes - the two last expansion gave us solo progression through something (fief or class domain) that is honestly fake content, just grind into more stats, it would have been better acquiring all that through multiplayer content - auto finding group made any kind of content rushable, along with the possibility of doing high end content without even trying to play your class correctly since you got the equipement necessary way too fast classic wow will be great

Some people enjoy the grind. I played vanilla and since then I've leveled 3 chars to 60 on blizzlike private servers. Not sure why there's hate. This is basically a market that doesn't exist anymore.

I think for me the big parts are going to be seeing some of the classic dungeons that changed in cata, etc. Old Scholo, Scarlet deadmines will be really nice to see again (and the journey to scarlet will be fun for people who never had to do it) I expect that a lot of people will try it and not stay around, but I think there are enough of us who played then to try and mentor and make better guilds/community. Yes there will be toxic people but I think that is a given with anything mmo related.

Except they aren't HAVING fun. They are hype train-ing about how much "better" it will be. But it wasnt. You just remember the nostalgia of it.
